Weight loss is my speciality.
I used to be 16 and a half stones (105kg), size 44 jeans, pre-diabetic and generally unhealthy, and learned the hard way how to fix my health and get into shape.
Since then I’ve coached hundreds of clients how to lose weight the smart way whilst looking great. More importantly, I arm them with the information required so that they can keep it off long-term.
My unique methodology has been developed looking at you as an individual rather than prescribing one-size-fits-all plans and hoping you fit the mould!
Testing your unique body
The essence of successful weight loss is to test you first to identify what needs focusing on.
Some clients I work with have lots of muscle and lots of fat. We want you to keep the muscle but strip the fat.
Other people have low muscle and bone but high fat. We want you to gain bone and muscle up to a safe 40% but strip the fat down.
What if you’ve tried other methods but they didn’t work?
I coach plenty of people who’ve tried everything out there. Slimming World, weightwatchers, keto, vegan etc.
The thing is that your body is unique and often doesn’t fit one approach.
I do weekly testing to see what works and then we get to your healthy bone/muscle/fat mass range.
For some clients who want to go deeper, I test DNA, gut and blood to see the real reasons why their health is not optimal. This is done in conjunction with medical professionals who can analyse your results to get the best weight loss results for you.
How am I different to other coaches?
The average personal trainer will charge you £25-50 an hour in Milton Keynes. There are some great ones out there who understand how to build muscle and make 20% of the population look great. I’ve worked with many and highly recommend them if you eat clean already, are disciplined in your training and don’t go out or drink much.
What if I just train lots?
I wish that worked but unfortunately it doesn’t if you are in the 80% of people with sub-optimal health.
All it will do is cause hormonal/inflammatory imbalances and make you fatter.
Nutrition and testing are the key.
I focus on the 80% who don’t fit that mould.
I was one of those people and have had many personal trainers myself. Whilst I gained muscle and felt great, I didn’t consistently lose any weight. I’d always put it back on.
I simply didn’t understand enough about nutrition, alcohol, mineral deficiencies and health conditions.
As a personal trainer I saw so many people in the gym who exercised like crazy but looks just as overweight and unhappy as when they started.
Now I have developed a method that helps you understand how to break this cycle for good.

If you are just looking for a single session here and there that indicates, you aren’t ready.
I only work with serious people who understand that weight loss of 1 stone upwards takes 2+ months rather than a week. There aren’t any magic pills unfortunately.
Also, I’m not the cheapest per hour coach out there. I start at £55 a session and work in monthly blocks with no contract. If this is out of your budget, then I can’t help I’m afraid.
I would argue that I’m the best value long term though.
The testing kit may state you need to lose 14kg of fat in a 28-week programme.
I have clients who have hit this target in 4-5 months and then don’t need me anymore.
Lots of personal trainers use the traditional method of 1/2/3 sessions per week.
Are they measuring your internal muscle/fat/bone/inflammation levels to prove it’s working?
Probably not, they at best will use a tape measure for your belly.
The science has moved on and do you really want to waste 2 years of your life feeling great but not getting the results you deserve?
The cost of £25-50 an hour for 2 years is gonna be massive!! You are talking a programme costing anywhere between £2500-£7500.
My programme will cost a 1/3 of that and get you the results you want as long as you stick to the programme.
Ok so you are serious right?
- Then I test you using BioTekna kit. This is a simple test that measures your bone/muscle/fat mass/inflammation. It is 1.5% accurate to the gold standard of Dexa. This is nothing like the devices you get in gyms which are not accurate.
I look at your levels and we determine how long the programme is going to be.
- Then we work together 1/2/3 times weekly and I devise a bespoke exercise, nutrition, supplementation, testing programme based around your weekly testing results.
I’m a great believer that you should enjoy the sessions and not simply be directed by a drill instructor. This often causes injury and doesn’t make the programme fun. I will push you into that uncomfortable zone so that you progress, and I love working out with you to push you more.
